The little mystery Iyanya shared is that his association with Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records was not a legally binding contract with any type of printed material.

The “Kukere” master uncovered in a series of tweets that he never signed any papers to end up a Mavin Records artiste. He joining the Don Jazzy-let music imprint was a temporary thought. He recognized that Don Jazzy gave him a free go to join the group for the time. The entire idea was birth by The Temple Management Company manager Idris.
